Peacebuilding Forum 3 – “Resilience in EU Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding”


On 16 March 2017 in Brussels, the third Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding Policy Forum was held, in which a panel of two European Union officials, a senior diplomat of a Member State, and a civil society representative debated the concept of ‘resilience’ and its implications for EU conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

Peacebuilding Forum 2 – “How to implement the EU Global Strategy”


On 29 September 2016, a lunchtime event hosted by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels, Belgium, brought together a number of researchers and policy experts from Europe to assess the ways to implement the EU Global Strategy, insofar as conflict prevention and peace building is concerned.

Peacebuilding Forum 1 – “Post-conflict Syria”


On 11 May 2016, a lunchtime event hosted by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels, Belgium, brought together a number of experts from Europe and Syria to assess the conditions on the ground and reflect on the implementation of peace deal for Syria if and when the Geneva diplomatic process generates an agreement. The forum was entitled, “Postconflict Syria: Which EU civilian capabilities for reconstruction?”
